I’m reposting this idea now that schools back again. It works really well in our house!
I don’t know about you but my kids come home from school and throw their bags down on the floor of the kitchen and keep on walking. It was driving me crazy! I was inspired by the Organised Housewife to create an area to hang school bags.
I wanted a spot that was easily accessible for the kids and me. We have a double fridge and freezer recess in our kitchen but we only have a single fridge. So I thought that would be a great spot to hang our bags. Not only was it easy for the kids, it was also great for me because it was in the kitchen and it was a dead area that I hated looking at!
I bought MDF (wooden) letters from Spotlight, for each of my kids and painted them in their favourite colour. I bought 4 hooks from Ikea, an extra hook for my handbag…
