Oscar turned 8 a few weeks ago and this year he was super excited because his birthday was on Grand Final Day! Even though his favourite team was not in the finals he still wanted a footy party. Here are some snap shoots of Oscar’s 8th Football Party.
I created these invitations using Creative Memories Storybook Creator.

The Celebration Table
I baked the Birthday Butter Cake and used fondant icing to decorate.
I baked oval cookies and decorated them using red fondant icing and I melted white chocolate for laces.
I bought take away coffee trays from Bunzl.
I placed a jelly cup, fruit salad, hot chips and a drink bottle in the cup holders.
In the centre of the tray was a hotdog.
These were well received and easy to prepare.
There were a number of party games:
Handball through the hoop – Children lined up and had to handball the football through the hoop if they missed the hoop they were out. The last child left is the winner.
Pass the Football – children sit in a circle and pass the ball around the circle when the music stops the child who had the ball is out. The last child left is the winner.
Kick to Kick
Face Painting – team colours stripes
Football Quiz – see below
In each bag was a football cookie, blue & yellow jellybeans and football prizes they received once they won a party game.
Happy Birthday Oscar!
We love you to the moon and back.
