Chilli Cheese Cob Dip Recipe

I love cob dips! I have a few good cob dip recipes this is my new favourite!

Below is my conventional recipe and the converted Thermomix recipe!

Chilli Cheese Cob Dip

Chilli Cheese Cob Dip

What You Need

1 bread cob

2 tsp oil

I small red onion, finally chopped

1 garlic clove, crushed

2 roma tomatoes, diced

50g baby spinach leaves, roughly chopped

250g cream cheese, at room temp.

1/4 cup sweet chilli sauce

2 tbsp. chopped chives

pinch of salt

paprika

What To Do

Using a serrated knife, cut a 3-4cm slice off the top of the cob bread. remove soft white bread to form a ‘bread bowl’. Place bread cob and white inside of the bread in oven at a low temperature until warmed through and crispy.

Sauté onions and garlic for a few minutes. add tomatoes and spinach and cook until spinach has wilted. Reduce heat and add cream cheese, chilli sauce, salt and chives to pan. cook for 2 minutes until combined. spoon into bread cob, sprinkle with paprika and serve.

Chilli Cheese Cob Dip (Thermomix)

What You Need

1 bread cob

20g oil

I small red onion

1 garlic clove

2 roma tomatoes

50g baby spinach leaves

250g cream cheese, at room temp.

65g cup sweet chilli sauce

2 tbsp. chopped chives

pinch of salt

paprika

What To Do

Using a serrated knife, cut a 3-4cm slice off the top of the cob bread. remove soft white bread to form a ‘bread bowl’. Place bread cob and white inside of the bread in oven at a low temperature until warmed through and crispy.

Chop onion and garlic Speed 6 for 10 sec. Scrape sides down.

Add oil and sauté 100C Speed 1 for 3 mins.

Add tomatoes and spinach chop speed 4 for 5 sec.

Cook 100C speed 1 for 1 min.

Add cream cheese, chilli sauce, salt and chives into bowl and mix on speed 4 for 10sec. Scrape sides down.

Cook on 90c speed 1 for 1 min.

Spoon into bread cob, sprinkle with paprika and serve.
