Chocolate Freckle Rabbit!

I hope you all had a lovely Easter. I know Easter has come and gone but I’ve decided to post this anyway. It would be a great idea to make in different shapes for a gift or as party favours. Everyone loves freckles they are colourful and fun!

I found a rabbit shape mould to make my own Easter gifts for my friends and family this year. I was really happy with the way they turned out and it was super easy. I only wish I had more than one mould. I’ll have to remember that for next time!!!

Chocolate Freckle Rabbit - The Creative Mummy

I found this silicon mould on eBay.

I simply melted some chocolate and placed into the mould.

I gently sprinkled 100s & 1000s over the chocolate and placed it into the fridge to set.

Once set I removed any excess sprinkles and carefully removed the freckle out of the mould.

I created this Easter message on Creative Memories Storybook Creator 4 using the Fabulous Digital Collection.

I printed it on to white paper.

I placed the message and freckle into a clear cello bag (from Spotlight).

As a precaution I placed a layer of baking paper between the paper message and freckle to prevent it from smudging.

To seal the bag I used washi tape!

It was well received by kids and adults!
